CO2 filtration

Like every element of the plant kingdom, microalgae also have the ability to fix the CO2 present in the atmosphere, but with a huge quantitative advantage.

One hectare of forest filters out approximately 6.4 hectolitres of C02, while one hectare of microalgae cultivation filters out 80 hectolitres.

If, for example, a microalgae plant is set up next to a conventional production plant, i.e. one that emits CO2 into the atmosphere, this CO2 can be used for the cultivation of microalgae.
