From 29 September to 2 October 2014, the Algae Biomass Summit was held in San Diego, California, a global conference of companies producing products made from bioalgae, with a large participation of visitors from all over the world who paid almost 500 $. entrance.
Tere Group, in collaboration with Algamoil, was the only Italian company present and obtained considerable interest from visitors.
During the congress, all the technological and biological innovations for the development of bioalgae were presented. Producers met to define the technical standards of products obtained from algae, in particular to establish the requirements of biofuels. More than 400 projects and researches were presented at the conference. Boeing was present at the conference with a model of the new 787 dreamliner that will also be able to run on fuel made from algae.
